Sometimes our bodies and minds need a break, and what better way to do so than to spend some time at a luxury resort in the beautiful Florida Gulf Coast. It doesn’t matter if you’re a local -hello staycation!- or if you’re visiting us from out of town, these hotels are the perfect spot for any type of getaway.
This beautiful hotel is located in Estero, the perfect location between Fort Myers and Naples. The hotel is near Coconut Point, an outdoor mall featuring over 140 stores and restaurants. Intended for the whole family, the Hyatt Regency at Coconut Point has a water park inside. They offer five water slides, a lazy river, and adult-only or family friendly pools.

Rated as the 2019 most romantic Naples resort by USA Today, La Playa has a lot to offer to couples and everyone that enjoys the true luxury life. On top of their three outdoor pools, their private beach, and their volleyball and tennis facilities, this resort offers two private 18-hole golf courses for guests to enjoy. The JW Marriott at Marco offers 10 different dinning options, so you can get everything you need inside the resort and not have to worry about anything but relaxing.
5. Hilton Marco Island Beach Resort and Spa
The Hilton is another great spot in Southwest Florida for a romantic getaway. The resort has all the amenities you need for days of relaxation that start with breakfast, fun in the sun, an afternoon massage at the spa, and end with dinner at one of their restaurants on site. If you’re looking to change the resort scenery for a date night out, you can cross the street and head to Marco Walk Plaza, where you can go shopping, watch a movie, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
