The Best Places to Visit in Florida This Summer
Vacation in Florida is vacationing in paradise. There are the typical places that you should visit, that include Miami Beach, the Keys, Orlando and its theme parks, and Tampa, but there are many other places to discover around the state. In this article we are going to take a look at these places and give you a list of a different type of Florida that you can add to your Summer travel list for this year.

St. Pete
St. Pete is a city full of history and culture located in the Gulf Coast of Florida, very close to Tampa and Sarasota. The beach is absolutely stunning, and it is also a great place to fish and do water sports. There are also plenty of museums, art galleries, and theaters to explore.

Florida Springs
Ok, this is not one specific place, as there are over 700 fresh water springs in the state. These springs are beautiful, refreshing, and offer a variety of activities for visitors to enjoy.
Some of the most popular springs are: Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring near Williston, Silver Springs near Ocala, Ginnie Springs -absolutely gorgeous- also in Central Florida, Rainbow Springs in Dunnellon, and Wakulla Springs in North Florida.
St. Augustine
Going to St. Augustine is transporting yourself to another country without even leaving the state. The city is located in North East Florida and it is filled with historical attractions. St. Augustine is a great place to go with family and to walk around the city.
Some of the attractions you can’t miss: Castillo de San Marcos, the Lightner Museum, and old town.
Destin
Located in the Panhandle, Destin has some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It is located in the Emerald Coast, which gets its name because of the stunning green hue the water has.
Destin is also a great place for fishing aficionados, the area is known for having a good variety of fish, including redfish, grouper, and trout.
