Marcela is a travel, lifestyle, and business blogger who loves dogs, tequila, and organizing events!
A native from Colombia, Marcela moved to the US in 2007 to attend the University of Florida in Gainesville, and graduated with a BS in Economics. After that she moved to Tallahassee to attend Florida State University, and after graduating with a MA in International Affairs moved to Milan, Italy for a year to travel around Europe. After coming back to the United States, she headed back to Florida and now lives in Ft. Myers.
Marcela worked with several nonprofit organizations and government agencies as an event planner, economist, and fundraiser, but she was always more interested in a writing career and sharing her knowledge with others.
In her spare time Marcela loves practicing yoga and meditation. She loves going on long walks with her dog, volunteering for different nonprofit organizations, and spending time with her friends. You’ll usually find Marcela discovering new places to eat or creating a new drink recipe.
