It is always love season in Southwest Florida and everyone is looking for places to impress their date, but I keep hearing people complain all the time about not knowing where to take their partner for dinner. So, here is a list of five different restaurant for all types of dates that you can pick from, this list includes some of my favorites in Fort Myers.

1. Ember Korean Steakhouse
   They take a contemporary approach to traditional Korean BBQ and also offer sushi and craft cocktails. This is a great option for a high end date in Fort Myers.
   What to get: Butcher’s feast, kimchi fried rice, shishitos, and green goddess roll.

2. King’s Kitchen
King’s Kitchen is a restaurant in downtown Fort Myers that has a rustic feel to it and serves international comfort foods, perfect for a date night to impress This is one of Southwest Florida’s “hidden” gems.
What to get: Loaded tostones, seafood ceviche, churrasco, and their sweet plantain fosters -a scrumptious take on a classic dessert-.

3. Caffe da Michele
Located inside Miromar Outlets, Caffe da Michele is a cozy restaurant serving Italian classics. They host a wine tasting once a month and its owner will give you the whole Italian treatment. This is definitely one of my favorite places in town.
What to get: Grilled artichoke, Gnocchi di Patate alla Sorrentina, and their table side tiramisu.

4. Ford’s Garage
This is one is a classic for people that like a more low key kind of date, eat some burgers, and drink some beers. Ford’s Garage offers a great variety of burgers always cooked to perfection and super juicy.
What to get: Pulled pork nachos, Model A burger, and Mushroom Swiss burger.

5. MAKS Asian Kitchen
Another classic and another one of my favorites here. MAKS on Daniel’s is great Asian cuisine and sushi spot. Their food is great, service is on point, and there is something for everyone.
What to get: Gyoza, Kani-su, pineapple seafood rice, and molten lava cake with ice cream.
