Where to Eat With Kids in SWFL
When eating out with kids, you want to make sure that you pick an appropriate restaurant that is family friendly, have good options for kids, and it is equally good for the adults. Dining out with children can sometimes be a challenge, with picky eaters and restless little ones in tow too. That's why we've carefully selected places that not only offer delicious meals but also provide a welcoming atmosphere and a variety of options to please even the fussiest eaters. This is our comprehensive guide to help you navigate through the culinary landscape and discover the top spots to eat with kids in Southwest Florida:
Brooks Burger: With three locations in Naples, Brooks Burger is a Southwest Florida classic. Its hamburgers are always cooked to perfection, they are juicy and super tasty. The restaurant offers quality burgers and good sized hot dogs for kids, it also has crazy milkshakes to end a great meal.
Osteria Tulia: With two locations in Naples, this restaurant is definitely a favorite amongst locals. I prefer the Mercato location, especially when going with kids, because we walk around after and see other stores and play around the area. The restaurant offers Italian food, great pizzas, and a good kids menu that includes items from spaghetti to steak and fries.
Lake Park Diner: This restaurant is located in Naples and Bonita Springs (opening soon), and they offer a vast selection of salads, bowls, sandwiches, and burgers. Its kids menu include grilled cheese, chicken strips, mac n cheese, and rotisserie chicken breast. The restaurant also offers delicious milkshakes that are perfect for dessert.
Mel’s Diner: Mel’s Diner has five locations from Naples to Cape Coral. It is a classic and a favorite here in Southwest Florida because of the food quality, quantity, and price. Inside the restaurant it looks like a classic oldie diner and their children menu is one of the best I’ve seen. From breakfast to dessert, it offers an incredible selection that even the pickiest of eaters will find something they’ll love.
The Pier at Fisherman’s Village: This one is one of my personal favorites, they have beautiful views, great food, and amazing service. We went with a baby, ordered avocado, and they took the time to make an avocado rose for him that made our day! Their children menu include california rolls, tempura Mahi sticks, chicken poke bowl and more. They are located in Fisherman’s Village in Punta Gorda.
